Entropotic (adjective): relating to or characterized by the process of becoming entropic; describing the explosive transition from concentrated order to dispersed disorder.
This site documents entropotic phenomena—observable patterns of organized systems fragmenting into disorder. The focus is on processes currently in transition, particularly artificial intelligence as the most visible contemporary example.
Approach

The Term
“Entropotic” uses the suffix -otic (as in chaotic, hypnotic, psychotic) to distinguish the process of becoming from the settled state. Entropic describes maximum disorder. Entropotic describes the transition toward that state.
