Concentrated trust in major institutions (media, government, academia, medicine) continues eroding. Not a sudden collapse but a steady entropotic transition. Trust disperses into thousands of micro-sources—individual influencers, niche communities, personal networks. The organized structures that concentrated credibility are losing coherence.

When observing potential entropotic phenomena, look for:
- Previously concentrated order or capability
- Rapid dispersal into multiple fragments
- Loss of original coherence or intent
- Irreversibility of the transition
- Unpredictability of exact endpoints despite knowing general direction.
Not all change is entropotic. Some transitions build new order. The key is identifying genuine explosions from order to disorder versus mere transformation.
